Reset Your Biological Clock

Do you ever feel like your body's clock is off kilter?  If so, you may be experiencing sleeplessness, low libido, wrinkles, and worst of all: aging. Various daily patterns in our body are determined by this dreadful “biological clock.” But it doesn’t have to be such a hated phrase. April 28th is Biological Clock Day so let's explore how the body’s clock is actually working for us, not against us.

Did You Know?

The body’s biological clock is a built-in mechanism that regulates our physiological activities that change on a cycle.

So, it’s just trying to bring normalcy and structure to our lives!

Our clock can be sensitive though and can be ticked out-of-whack pretty easily. Things that throw your body off routine like jet lag, shift work, or even daylight savings time can mess with your biological clock and take a toll on physical and mental health.

When your biological clock begins to slow down, you can deal with these issues:

  • sleeplessness
  • greater risk for heart conditions
  • increased risk for diabetes
  • cognitive decline
  • chronic health problems

Thankfully there is a solution. To keep your body clock ticking in normal rhythm, your hormone levels need to be regulated.  Hormones need to be in balance for you to look and feel your best. Your sleep schedule and diet may change due to the demands of a busy life, but your hormone levels don’t have to.

At 25 Again, we monitor and track your health to ensure that your body is on track and where it’s not, we’ll fix it. Click here to learn more how hormone regulation can reset your clock.
